Liens that survive

Upset: subject to all liens and encumbrances at time of sale. Judicial: free and clear of most liens after proper notice; federal liens separate. RETSL notice defects can void sales.

Quiet title

Standard recommendation for Upset purchases; still common after Judicial for insurance.

Verify before you bid

This record was compiled from the published sale list. Parcels are pulled, redeemed, and re-priced up to the moment of sale. Confirm the lot is still in the sale, and confirm the opening bid, directly with the county.
